The position will work closely with our Assistant Editor, Finishing and IT departments. You will have the ability to quickly adapt to new and existing workflows and be highly organized and be able to work independently and with team members.

Job Description:
The Asset Manager is a mid-level post production position that is responsible for the ingest, organization, and archival of all ZEALOT assets. The position will work closely with our Assistant Editor, Finishing and IT departments. You will have the ability to quickly adapt to new and existing workflows and be highly organized and be able to work independently and with team members.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Migrate assets through the ZEALOT pipeline ensuring redundancy and availability
- Ingest, organize and transcode media files for Producers, Editors, Designers, Finishers, etc.
- Take ownership of MAM/DAM implementation and organization
- Archive completed projects and restore archived projects/files upon request
- Organize, log and track physical media assets such as external hard drives, thumb drives, SD cards, etc.
- Receive, QC and send assets to/from clients and partners
- Work alongside Assistant Editors to organize footage and resolve media related issues
- Work alongside Finishing to ensure high-res/online footage is accessible and prepped for Online Editor(s)
- Work alongside IT to monitor and manage storage usage across servers and cloud platforms
Qualifications:
- Experience in Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve (ZEALOT’s editorial software is Premiere)
- Experience with MAM/DAM solutions (EMAM, Iconik, Axle ai, etc.)
- Strong understanding of media codecs, video frame rates, and resolutions
- Familiarity with industry specific platforms/tools (Aspera, Frame.io, Pix, Signiant & other media sharing platforms)
- Proficiency with MacOS.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information:
- Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm. However, you may be required to work 12pm-9pm shift
- Paid overtime on a regular basis, as our business is driven by our clients' needs.
- Pay Range is $25 p/hr to $50p/hr. the base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Actual offers may vary based on work experience.
- This is not a remote / work from home position - You must be able to make a daily commute 4x per week to LA to be considered for this job.
